The Astoria, London, England

Opening band: Kick

What can I say? They came, we saw, they rocked!! Opening up with Under The Sun, Billy Duffys Falcon chimed out and we all went mad. A Cult starved Astoria crowd didn't care if this wasn't Ian and Billy, Coloursound stand on their own merit with a more pop orientated sound. The entire set was the album and so things finished fairly early. Stand out tracks were Fountainhead, Alive, State Of Indepdence, Heavy Rain, Fade In Fade Out Fade Away. If I could sum up their sound it would be a cross between The Who, U2, The Stones and The Beatles, its all very retro but thats what we all like eh? Brilliant stuff.

This was a short (just an hour) gig, but was amazing. Full of energy and very loud. Under The Sun was a stand out track, with the setlist being most/all of the album. Craig Adams was rocking and looking very happy with himself. Billy and Mike Peters gelled together really well and Billy left the stage to the refrain of "Enjoy the Album". I did and I have! Ian Raspberry was in the audience and we were disappointed when he didn't join them.
