The Chili Pepper, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Opening band: Billionaire
An hour and a half after the opening band (a painful experience) passed and the crowd
was getting ornery last night. Finally, at 11 the Cult took the stage and it was well
worth the wait. It's been a long time since a band rocked that hard, they were tight
and the jams kept coming. Set list was identical to those already posted. Sweet Soul
Sister, In The Clouds and Edie (Ciao Baby) were great standouts. The
crowd was nuts, moshing and body surfing, and the band loved it-Ian thanked us
for being "an exceptional audience" and then mentioned how glad he was to be ending
his tour in south Florida-he said the last time he was here he spent most of his time
in jail! Excellent show, excellent crowd-looking forward to the next tour.

This show was in a small nightclub. It was 3 hours, late, jam packed.I had never been
to a Cult show, and I had found out about it the previous night. furthermore I had never
collected their CDs, nor knew the lyrics. But guess what? it didn't matter: THIS WAS THE
BEST FUCKIN' SHOW IN MY WHOLE FUCKIN' LIFE!!!! I had been to Pearl Jam, Page/Plant, etc,
but nothing came close to this. I even gave the mosh pit a shot! It was great, and now I
will become a devoted fan. THEY KICKED ASS!!!! LONG LIVE THE CULT!!!!
