Zee's, Camp Hill, PA
Well, I went to go see them in Camp Hill on Monday. The place, Zee's, was
TINY!! It was a small bar/banquet underneath a restaurant. I got there
about 7:30 (gate opened at 8), I saw a white van parked out front with
Ohio plates, (remember the review for 5/18 in Ohio!!). Also, someone
said they were in there eating dinner. Then somebody came to pull the
van up to the front door and then they came out. I got to talk to Ian
briefly and got his and Scott's signature.
It was a mighty long wait until around 11:00pm when they came out. Well,
worth the wait!!! It was excellent! This tiny little place had about
125-150 people there! Better than that, though, the stage was 1 foot of
the floor! I was in the front and they were RIGHT THERE!! Not even arm's
length to Pat.
As before, Ian came out with his hair slicked back and his yellow lensed
glasses. The jazz music started and they strutted out. There wasn't any
poetry and Ian told everyone that there would not be any Cult played this
evening. The band was GREAT! Ian's voice, EXCELLENT!!! Pat's guitar,
EXCELLENT!! Ian mentioned that he liked the club. He said it was like
playing a cabaret, it was very adult, he liked it. When they started to
play The Witch, Ian mentioned that it was a Cult song, but not really....
The show ended about 12:15. The highlights for me, besides the whole
show, were Blind, Cream, and Bodhisattva. It was great.....
If you can, go see them NOW!! AWESOME, absolutely AWESOME!!!!
