Didn't have to worry about a bunch baggy pants wearin', daddy can i have a grand spending suburbanite moshing crashing down on your feet like a tour manager punk ass fools.

Found quite a few cult fans, one was even wearing a very old LOVE t-shirt. They closed with Helter Skelter.

Timothy Leary had just died the day before so Ian began the concert with a furiously quick reading of a poem about Leary by Allen Ginsburg. It was pretty much unintelligible, but the idea was very cool. When he finished reading the poem, Ian threw the book our into the crowd -- just a few feet away from me. Everyone scrambled to get the book. By the way, it was an amazing thing to see and hear Astbury up close in a smaller venue. I'd seen the Cult 4 times before, and this Barbarians performance was every bit as exciting as the Cult. Anyone who is a fan and hasn't seen the Cult, do whatever it takes to see them this time around. Catch 2 shows.

Very fun show in a small, but hip venue. After a very impressive opening show by Bif Naked, the Holy Barbarians put on an exciting, high-energy show. The only Cult song in the set was The Witch. They performed most of the Holy Barbarians album. It was a very fun show in an intimate setting. After the show, my friends and I were actually able to chat a bit with a couple members of the band, including Ian. All involved were very cool and friendly.
