Brixton Academy, London, England
How do you top Elvis singing backup on Firewoman? Brilliant.

The Cults last gig in the UK, stood outside for hours, as usual, freezing to death
to get a place at the front, was well worth it, got loads of really great photos,
can't wait to see the guys again, doing what they do best, rocking out for the
people who care. Good luck Ian....see you soon and get the album out as soon as
possible, we are feeling deprived! Adies the Spider.

First saw The Cult at the age of 'sweet sixteen' and eleven years on and two more
concerts later, I can't find another band to match them. My mate 'bailed out' at
the last minute at the Brixton Academy gig so I took my Mum (bet no-one else can
match this!!) - she's a bit of a 'rocker' herself and loved every minute!!(She saw
Jimi Hendrix at his final live concert so I knew she'd be okay!) The gig was small
& intimate due to the tiny venue which didn't really do The Cult the justice
they deserved, but got a great view anyway! I was gutted to see that it was around
this time that Ian had his great long hair chopped off - what was going on?!!! It
was a trademark! Bit depressing that it was the last gig in the UK with Ian &
Billy together but hey! I'm glad I was there to see it!!!!!!!
