Opened for: Guns N' Roses

They were opening for Guns 'n Roses!!!!!(ridiculous!!!). I only came for my homeboys. They performed only about an hour, but they were really energetic. They did some try-outs/test with new songs for their 1994-cd The Cult. It was nice to see, how some songs can change in one year time. For example Star Night changed into Star and they did The Witch and Be Free. There were two other great moments. First of all Peace Dog. At that moment i thought Ian possibly could beat Carl Lewis, because he ran that fast on the big stage, but kept on singing and swinging with his mike...incredible. Second of all, after some songs Matt Sorum came on stage, formerly The Cult and at that moment Guns N' Roses. By the way glad to see Matt back where he belongs. (October 99)
