Opening Band: Lenny Kravitz
This was the Ceremony tour. Lenny Kravitz opened for The Cult. He was great.
The concert wasn't sold out. I think it had to do with the fact that within the
same month or so, Guns 'N Roses, Metallica, Soundgarden, and I think Rush with
Primus, all came to San Diego. I believe it was just a matter of bad timing. I
remember Ian's voice seemed pretty hoarse, but he pulled it off. They didn't play
Wild Hearted Son which was a big disappointment. But otherwise the concert
rocked.
