Back then I went to buy a ticket for this gig. The tickets cost £13.50
but I only had £13.00. I went home to get the rest of the money but
when I came back the gig was sold out!!! I was disgusted because this
was the first and the last time The Cult ever played Ireland. A friend
who went to the gig told me it was amazing, Ian came on stage wearing
his outfit from the Wild Hearted Son video, New York City
completely rocked the venue to the ground and the acoustic version of
Edie (Ciao Baby) sent shivers down his spine. It's a pity they
don't take time out to play Dublin again.
