E-Werk, Cologne, Germany
It seemed to me, that Ian drank a lot, and his leather pants were sliding because he didn't wear
a belt. And an friends of me said, look, he has the same problems like i have with the leather
pants, if you dont wear a belt and jump around, they always slide.

That was a brilliant one... The E-Werk was sold out and the fans were hot!
The band started slowly with Ceremony and Ian didn't showed any bigger
optical emotional outburst during the first 30 minutes. Just standing at
the mike and singing! But iit was intense even without any correspondence
with the audience! Billy was just Billy - standing there and playing
brilliant, he never let us down! The band just rocked through a brilliant
and heavy set. Maybe the Drum/Bass soli were a bit to 70ies, but maybe Ian
and Billy needed a rest. The second half of the set was a triumph, no, it
was a riot! All the classics rocked the house and the fans on the floor
went nuts! The lights were absolutley brilliant and supporting the songs!
Earth Mofo was so wild! If I remember it correctly Ian destroyed his mike
stand during Love removal mashine or was it Earth Mofo?!? Also a moment for
eternity was when Ian fell on his knees during the climax of "White". What
a great Rock'nRoll show! When I remember this show, I still got a smile on
my face!
Cheers
