Forgive me if I sound like a young schoolgirl, but when talking about the
Cult that's how I feel. This was my first Cult concert, the Sonic Temple
tour. It was the start of Spring Break and a beautiful San Diego night-perfect
for an outdoor concert. I was a relatively new Cult fan. I remember seeing the
Fire Woman video and having an immediate crush on Ian. I rushed out and
bought all their albums. To this day I am a diehard fan. Anyway, I was so
excited to see the Cult. After sitting through the two opening acts, the crowd
was more than ready for the Cult. When they came out I almost fainted.
Ian looked so incredible. His hair was perfect. Damn I loved his hair. I
overheard some girls saying that they were going backstage to meet Ian. I was
so jealous at the time. The concert was the most amazing I've ever been to.
It was sold out with even more people hanging outside.
