Opening bands: Bonham, Dangerous Toys

What a show. The Cult were at the height of their comercial success, and supporting "Sonic Temple", when I had the opprotunity to see them. The Spectrum, a large arena, was shortened into what they call the showcase theatre, making the show a bit more intimate than usual. After suffering through opening acts, Bonham and Dangerous Toys, it was time for some serious rock n' roll. Opening with New York City, I was in awe, from all the electricty and energy that filled the air. The highlights of the show featured Ian smashing his tambourine, during an awesome version of Wild Flower, and a guest appearance by "Cinderella" guitarist Tom Keiffer, on a particularly raw version of Born To Be Wild. The Cult rule!!!
