I picked up tickets from the box office about half an hour before the show and they were great. Ian came out dressed completely in denim. A jean jacket and big bell-bottoms with black platform shoes. They opened with New York City and played pretty much their standard Sonic Temple set. Near the end of the show, Ian took a running leap and jumped into the crowd. He must have cleared about 20 feet! When he finally made it back to the stage he was missing both his boots!

The post that is there notes that Ian dove into the crowd and came back without either of his boots. You may not know that those boots were NOT just any boots. Those boots were previously owned by John Lennon and Ian was offering a reward for their return. I actually thought that only one was missing...could have been both. Understand that he paid $2000 for them, not sure if it were at an auction or what.

I was at this show too! Amazing! I couldn't BELIEVE IT when Ian leapt into the crowd! That was nuts! I thought he lost only one boot too, but could be wrong. Who cares? The Cult ROCKS!
