Opening Band: Bonham
Met the guys backstage during the day and boy were they surprised to see that I
had kept true to my word and was in Saskatoon! The weather was about -35 c and the
guys would not venture outside, until I convinced Billy, Jamie and young Bonham that
they had to have a beer at Bud's On Broadway. The show was too North American by my
standards and did not match the energy of the Zenith gig, but it was a great show.
Ian was in a bit of a state during the day and by the end of the night. I am glad to
hear that he cleaned up his act and is doing his best to control the boozing. Grade - B,
but only because the guys learned to throw a North American football and do a
Canadian Winter!
