The first and only time I've seen the Cult live. (I'll see them for the second time this June at the Tibetan Freedom Concert! I can't Wait!!!!!) Anyway, after about three songs, Ian points out this kid wearing an R.E.M. T-shirt sitting on top of a seat in the front row. The kid just sat there watching Ian. Finally, when Billy's monsterous riffs subside, Ian says to the crowd, "Seems as though we have an R.E.M. fan in the front row that doesn't like to Rock 'n Roll!" Ian quickly jogs back stage and comes back with a candy bar. He flips it to the kid and says, "There you go, now maybe you'll get off your ass and Rock n' Roll!!!!!!!", at which point Billy starts to jam! The kid got up left. Peace, Karl Koppelmann
