Opening for: Billy Idol
At that point I did not knew The Cult. I was going to see Billy. I was in the first row,
right in the middle. From the moment they (Cult) got on stage until the very last note,
I was banging my head like I never did before! I still remember Ian shouting at the crowd
"Shut up you bastards!!!". Then I gave him the finger. After their performence, Billy went
on stage and me and my friends left the front row to go get some air! We didn't even
listened to Billy Idol. The next day, I went to buy every thing possible on The Cult and
started a tribute to them with my band (I'm a drummer)! We did that for 2 years in Quebec
Canada. Yeah,I'm a french Canadian and I hope you don't give a shit about it!!!! I'm a
big big fan of The Cult, I can easely say that it's one of my biggest musical influence
with Kiss Van Halen and Motley Crue!!! Long live The Cult!!!!
