I was playing guitar in the support band, Crazy Pink Revolvers. It was the
Electric tour if I remember rightly, and I remember being blown away
by the amount of Marshall stacks that Billy had set up. I had to have my
little Marshall setup (in comparison) right near the front of the stage in
front of a massive curtain cos there was no room any further back for it.
It was a great night - we went down well, and the Cult were great - I think
it was recorded for a video. Billy is a top bloke - I saw him London about
a month ago - and a great guitarist. Maybe someone out there was at the gig.
Our singer, Stan (ex Theatre of Hate/Spear of Destiny) tripped over a monitor
and did a double roll across the stage while still playing perfect bass riffs
in the middle of the song! Those were definitely the days! Rock and roll!
