Leffinge, Belgium, Leffingeleuren Fest
We went to see the concert in Belgium Because Utrecht was cancelled They weren't even
booked. A very small place and the concert was GREAT!!

After driving 525km we are home again It was almost to good to be true, to see the Cult
3 times in Holland where Utrecht was cancelled So we travelled to Belgium and arrived in
a very small village Leffinge Where The Cult started at 23.00 hour sharp They played more
than an hour and Ian changed the Witch into The Bitch which was quite funny. It was the
birthday of Robert the PA-man So the whole tent sang him a happy birthday to you...
The Cult rocked my socks off And the gig was as superfatfunky, as the other two in
Amsterdam and Tilburg!
The setlist was about the same. Ian asked for a request And I should have loved SHAPE THE SKY!
Billy apologize for making a mistake but you cannot make an omelette without breaking eggs...
I couldn't defenetley not judge Ian by his shoes Whom where taped together because he sounded
crystal clear.
The Cult gave an encore of another 4 songs and that was THE SHOW!!!!!!
At the merchandise stand I got an keyring for my chihuahua Wee-toe.
Chihuahuaforeverforeverchihuahua. CFFC. You know what I mean... And I noticed a new white
Cult-tshirt in the collection, very nice.
So another great show The third one this year. What a hit
Hope you guys come to play again with some new songs too. And please not in another 10 years
The first gig of the Cult I saw was in Rotterdam 1983 Pandora's box That was so cool and the
others they played through the years where so fine Blew my mind

Saw the Cult last Friday at the Leffinge Festival in Belgium. They were great! I remembered it
was a long time ago I saw them in Vooruit Gent in Belgium. I found my ticket and it says that
was jan 29th 1986. More than 20 years ago I’m getting old...
When it watched the tourdates of 1986 I didn’t see that date, I just wanted to let you know.

Last time I saw the Cult in Belgium was back in 1994.
Finally saw them again last Friday at the Leffingeleuren festival.
Great show, the first one after their summer break I think.
Set list was the same as Bilbao if I remember correctly.
The 2006 line-up is a very good one, great rhitme section (John Tempesta is a very powerful
drummer who stays very close to the originals - especially the Les Warner - Electric period).
Ian sang very well, hit all the high notes, close to the recordings.
They played around 75 minutes, difficult to mentions highs or lows. Every song sounded near
perfect and audience responded great.
The band really looked like they were having a good time. At a certain moment (after the
acoustic Edie I think) Ian even hugged Billy, who admitted he had the shakes because they
hadn't played together for two months (and appologising to the audience for throwing his guitar
to a roadie during the intro to Edie).
Ian also appologised for staying away from the Belgian stages for so long, promising it
wouldn't happen again ...
I can only hope he meant it!
