Oh, i'm fuckin tierd, getting old.

I was in Oporto Show, this night....

Do you raelly want to know why this is special??? In 1994, she show was awesome... the very great Live show i were... And what mr Astbury said? In a newspaper or magazine, in France, he said that was the greatest show of the band... (Sorry i can't prove it..., but do you believe? So what about Billy Duffy? In 2001, BG&E era, he wrote in a chat:

"Host: OK. Toto says what is the best venue you have ever played in.

Billy Duffy: we played this place in portugal, an old theater, 19th century theater. The whole place was decaying. It was like playing on a movie set. The fact it was in such decay, there was amazing ambiance. There were beautifully structured balconies. It was a derelict 19th century theater. It was pretty amazing."

Sure it wasn't Alvalade Stadium or a Pavillion in Cascais...

So, this show were very peculliar, i guess...

Astbury looks sick, thin, and woried with his leg... I guess other bands and musicans sould cancel the show, but now, we are talking about professionals...

Billy did'n talk to the audience, and had some problems with guitars, he was very very mad...

The setlist was the same, as usual in europe, no surprises, but well played...

Mr Billy Duffy ROCKS!

Tempesta and Wise were amaising too!

One word to the Mike, the bike: he tours with the cult more years then Jamie Stwart.... He sould be recognised as CULT permanent member, as Ian and Billy.

I had a great surprise, cause Dustin and Che, Ian's sons, were at the stage in the end of the show, giving gifts from the band... picies of tamborines, "palheas" from guitar with Duffy's name.

In the end, my girlfriend give me the "guest" pass for after show.

Then we met Tempesta (very nice and simple guy), Cris Wise (very nice to the ladies..., and the great Mike Dimp, who was a very special, cause we talk about the band, the future projects, new songs, and drinking Vodka (him) and Bear (me).

We had the autographs and some pictures too...

Finnaly, Mike asked for Ian and Billy Authograph to me. The guy said no, and Mike told him, "its for my friend here", and the guy did the job...

Unfourtunably, Billy and Ian not appear in the after show...

Then Astbury left the building, inside a van, with Dustin and Che, no words... Just singn with the and, no alowed photos, his face looks very said and painfull...

Then, we met some people of thr crow, very nice guys. Roberto (one of them) come to us to talk a little, couse he remind me and my girlfriend from Lisboa show (Super rock show).

In the end, B Duffy came to us, to give authographs, he was very nice, but he seems tired, no photos....

Everybody went home, but when Duffy were going out in the van, the car stopped. He opened the window, and give us his hand again.

Very special night, i finally met the guys who had played my life's soundtrack.

I Listen to The Cult since I was 10!, 20 years ago!!!
