My wife and I finally have our hearing back from the show last night. Doors opened at 8pm but they didnt start until 9:30pm and the crowd as getting very rowdy some people were booing. They came on and it was an amazing show with a great list.

I loved Spiritwalker, Rise and She Sells Sanctuary. The band was in very high sprirts with Billy and Ian inspiring the crowd all through the show. They were high fiving ach other and telling some stories. I had never seen that before maybe it will lead to an album. Afterwards my wife and I saw Ian who again was very elusive he signed a few autographs but that is what makes him the great lead singer. We then saw Billy and he signed for everybody and talked with the crowd and asked how we liked it.

Saw the cult last nite. They were amazing no frills rocknroll. they played about 1:45 min 3 encore songs including She Sells Sanctuary. The crowd was tremendous, different ages completely into it. The whole band was great ian sounded awesome. I made it to the 3rd row in was general admission so I made sure I got pushed forwad not back phenominal energy. I had a blast nice mix on the song list. I don't have it memorized but they did not disappoint!

That show kicked ass. The venue was to crowded though. My wife got stuck out in the lobby and it took a decent stranger to get her back out on the floor, she was unable to see the performers most of the night but said she very much enjoyed the show because they sounded so good. I was about 20 ft back of center stage. Just behind the mosh pit. Until the pit grew that is. Brian B. took care of that though. He cleaned it up rather quickly. Its funny to see an experienced very large mosher. They all decided they should not fuck with people outside the pit. Pussies. Billy put on a top notch performance. First rate. Awesome ass kicking A one. I have seen alot of good guitar players. Jimmy Page, Robin Trower,Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Slash, Tom Morrelo, Joe Perry....... Billy is in a class of his own. The song writing is in a class of its own. I guess some things aren't meant to be mainstream. Too Bad. I think its the name of the band. That takes balls. America is still to puritanist to let something like that to be mainstream. Ian was very good. It seemed he could have been winded or out of pace at times. He got a lot better as he warmed up. How often do we see that? I don't know what it would be like to work under those conditions, so I'll cut him some slack. Buffalo is a long drive. They rocked so hard that it made the slow songs (Edie (Ciao Baby), Revolution, Brother wolf; Sister Moon) seem anti climactic, even though I love those songs and they were sung and perfomed excellent. I thought they had a great mix of songs that spanned 19....20 years.(have they done anything since 01 ?) Theres just something about their song writing that gets under your skin. I would love to hear Soul Asylum as a previous writer said, but you can't please everyone. Rain was off the hook, so was Wonderland, everything from electric, The Witch, everything from love, Fire Woman, Sweet Soul Sister, wait a minute, the whole fucking show was awesome. Lets hope they come back to Boston, as they inquired about. The show CD is cool, very cool. Bastards they got me hooked again. I have seen some very good shows lately, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Perfect Circle, I would have to say Billy and Ian are right there. Why won't the local Radio Station do a Cult vrs. say V.R. or STP or AC/DC. I know where my vote would go. References to Kiss? What the hell is that all about? Any decent rocker grows out of that at age 16...... I saw some young Kids at the show. 12 or 13 yrs. Keep the faith.
