EVERYONE in that place was moving, and smiling...it was just one big "happy" party from my view. Just great. Billy D. was happy and kicked ass of course, And Billy M., wow, whatta talented guy he is.
Matt was kinda hidden behind his hihat from where i was, but of course played great, Slash was there and i have to say he was in the spotlight...but if i had it my way, it would of Been The Duffster under the spotlight,,which he should be, which he deserves,,,,
Man...lets see, Melissa from Hole got up there and sang a Black Sabbath song, and there was this other girl who was VERY soulful and just rocked. She reminded me of Janis Joplin in her dress and character. Her energy.
The guy from Fuel filled in for Ian and sang LRM as Billy D. , Billy M., and Matt and everyone else rocked it out. Our little section went ape @#%$ for that Cult song and Billy M. looked at us and just gave a great big SMILE!
He was all jazzed.
It was great!
Small venue, and packed with good vibes.
I only wish Billy D. couldv'e played more.
But some is better than nothing.
Oh, and the cameras moving about in that place! Wow, i've never seen so many professional camera men in the front of the stage between the barrier. Damn. It was just crazy.
Anyone out there debating on whether to go to THE CAMP...take it from me...and go next time!!
Billy D. will more than likely be there, and it is just a really great show.
