Great show last night at the Fillmore. What a great set!, Lots of oldies like Horse Nation, Spiritwalker, lots of B-sides as well. Great acoustical versions of Edie and White. The Fillmore was packed, a lot of energy. Ian and Billy truly looked like they were having fun. At one point during the acoustical version of Edie, Billy screwed up some guitar chords, but they both just laughed and started over. Ian's mike could of been turned up a notch. Overall it was a success, it was a long set with songs like; Gone, American Horse, Star, American Gothic, Ashes And Ghosts, Rain, Lil' Devil, Sweet Soul Sister, Wildflower, Revolution She Sells Sanctuary, Love Removal Machine, Love, Rise, and their own remake of Moya. I am going to LA to see them again at the Wiltern. Great show, one of the best that I have seen. Sorry about punctuation and spelling, I am still tore down from the show last night.

This show was everything that I was hoping for. A very long and varied set played in an intimate setting for a collection of true fans. Wow. They played he Phoenix and Spiritwalker. Two songs I've always wanted to see them perform. Unlike the tour last summer they played songs from every album. They weren't playing it safe on this night. Plus, this being their first night out, Ian's voice was in top shape. We all know that it tends to wear down as a tour progresses. Add to all of this that Scott Garrett and Craig Adams were back (with all due respect to Matt Sorum, Billy Morrison, and Jamie Stewart, this is their best line-up) and it made for the best live Cult experience I've had.
