Show was good, crowd was very weak. "This room is dead," Ian shouted at point.
I couldn't agree more! Small venue, very easy to get right up front, which was
awesome. Played the usual set list as of late, heavy on "Beyond" material. Not
a big fan of the song
True Believers but in a live setting, that song is
absolutely fantastic.
Sun King was a highlight as well. Ian was in a
playful mood the entire evening. Solid show.

The Cult sounded great again, I saw them at Toad's Place, New Haven, CT in 1994
(I lost some of my hearing that night) and also at the Springfield Civic Center,
Springfield, MA in 1990. I had my ear plugs this time and the whole show was
jamming and plenty loud, however I have to agree the crowd was fucking dead
comparing to other shows. To bad the stage seemed to small for the band, but
since it was a small venue I was able to get up front for some of the show and
enjoy the close view.
