Fanatstic show in Detroit once again. The band really seems to respond to the crazed atmosphere here in the Motor City. Opening act Monster Magnet really pumped up the crowd. When the Cult came onstage it was LOUD!!!!!!! People were bodysurfing before the first song (Rise) was over. Judging from the other times I've seen the Cult I'm sure the set was the same as everywhere else they've played so far this tour. Highlights were numerous and my girlfreind was passed across the crowd, right up to shake Ian's hand. Definately the highlight of her Cult experiences. Anyway, GREAT show once again. Looking for another close by concert soon!!!

The band was in top form. Way better than the Grand Rapids show in May. This is my 4th Cult show and the best I've seen. The new songs were my main concern as well is it is for everyone else reading this. The new songs were amazing live and the crowd reacted. I new that they were not going to be playing anything from the (Selftitled). After the show I ended up meeting the band and asked them to bring some of those songs back. Ian said that this is his favorite (selftitled) cd . So tell Billy if you are able to meet him to play these great songs. I would go crazy to hear (Real Grrrl) live. The crowd was very wild. Ian had to settle the crowd down as a fight broke out. Other wise the crowd was very involved & crowd surfing went the whole show. There was even moshing going on! Detroit does kick ass! Highlights of the show were Take The Power, War, Sweet Soul Sister, and In The Clouds. This band is better than ever. GO TO THE SHOW! I hope to get more new material!

4th Time seeing them and it was excellent. New songs came off stronger than the record. The only downside was Matt phoned in his performance. I had seen him with both the Cult and Neurotic Outsiders and he didn't have the energy at all. Duffy didn't move, but he was excellent with a lot of wah wah. A very tight, good sounding show.
