I was at the show 7/3 in Milwaukee......WOW!!!!.......They came out wanting to be there
and rocked!!!.....I did not see this show listed on the tour date section and wonder if
you know about this classic monster of a 11 day music festival??? New record attendance
at 1M+...... It was a bonus with it being a holiday, my estimate of the
crowd????.........25,000+...... NO BS, they just came out and rocked......
Rise is
not getting enough air play it deserves.......I don't recall a band being so into playing,
Duffy left nothing to give, they all did, but the axe was so clear and loud, big and
distinct.....truly unique.............I think the show was about 2 hr., it was hard to
tell because in Milwaukee, beer is almost more necessary than water, protect the water to
make the beer, so this substance was readily available, actually you could label the venue
as one big beer garden with 15 stages.....so, to say the least, the crowd was rather spirited
as well.......this was just a classic all out rock show. Catch this show if it comes your
way!......One more, price of admission was a cereal box top from a General Mills product
supporting education.
P.S....they played more than the set list says.....they also rocked
Sun King and
Spiritwalker at this show
Opened with
Rise. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Most concerts work up to a peak
energy level. The CULT started at peak and sustained! NOBODY is as cool
on stage as Ian. Funky square glasses (green?), leather and a
tambourine..as good as it gets. I have seen everyone from J. Priest,
Motorhead to Jimmy Buffet. Hands down the tightest and best concert I
have ever seen. Billy's guitar might as well been Mt. Everest..the sound
was a sonic boom.. Us cornyackers in Wisconsin are not worthy! All other
start up metal bands take note and be schooled! PS kick-ass site...
