I watched the Musique Plus special so here goes: The band played 9 songs which is a lot for a 90 minutes show with lots of interview with the band. The songs were great (even if playing in a TV studios is probably the hardest to do since you play for 2-3 songs, stop for a few questions, and start playing again, it's harder to get a momentum going with the fans) but my best part was the interviews ... the guys were having fun AND giving good intelligent answers to good intelligent questions. Of course, most question were focused on Ian but Billy had his share of talking too. They mentionned how Montreal (2001-05-30 Métropolis show) was the best gig they played in a long time, good crowd that interacts, not just looking at them with "TV eyes" (as Ian said!!!). Ian spoke french too which is always very amusing. They played (in order): Wild Flower, Rain, Rise, Breathe, Edie (Ciao Baby), The Witch, Fire Woman, She Sells Sanctuary and Love Removal Machine. The first 2 songs where "mello", Billy looked like he wanted to give a clean and "album like" sound but after Edie (Ciao Baby) the crowd (±150 fans in the studios) started to get in the beat and Ian & Billy responded promptly! It was a great apperance for the band and a perfect timing for myself since the new album is coming out in a few days ... just enough to keep me surviving until the 5th :o)

I saw them again on June 1 at a private show they did at Musique Plus. That was interesting. They did 9 songs in the 90 minutes show with 2 interviews in the middle of that. The questions asked were good and the answers too. Most of the questions were for Ian but Billy had a lot to say and that was really nice to hear what he had to say. The song they did were great and they seemed in good shape. I had he opportunity to meet Ian after the show while I was having dinner at a restaurant near Musique Plus. He's a great guy, as a lot to say and he's interested on what people have to say. I'm really happy I had the chance to meet him alone and that we had time to talk. And hey, by the way he confirmed that they were coming back to Montreal in October. So if you have missed the show, well see you in October....
