I'm very happy!!! Yesterday I finally could see the "Gods" here in São Paulo. The show was at "Centro de Exposições Imigrantes" and started at 9:30. It was fantastic!!! In the morning I went with my friend Silvia (I thing that you know her) in the airport to see the guys. They were very hasty because they came from Rio de Janeiro and arrived here in São Paulo at 3:00 PM. The show would start at 9:00 PM! Only Silvia and I was there waiting them! (We knew the exact time that they would be here in the airport because we called to Warner Music). We was waiting them inside the airport but the flight was come and they didn't appear. Then we went out and when we was crossing the airport's door we saw them in the street putting the bagages inside the cars. First we saw Billy an Matt but I was looking for Ian. In front of me there was a man turned on his back, wearing a black hat getting a bag from the floor. Sivia sad: I thing that is Ian. I went near him and sad: Excuse me. He turned to me and was Ian!!! I was very surprised and sad: IAN!!! He couldn't speak until the show to preserve his voice, so IAN was "mute". But he signed a picture and my Holy Barbarians CD. Then I ask if I could to take a picture with him he shaked his head saying YES. When I was taking my camera a man come and sad: Ian we got a go now! We couldn't take pictures but we were very happy!!! At night I went to the show with another friends and it was very nice. When the show was finished my friend Fabiana and I were near to the stage and a man that was on the stage called me. He gave us a backstage free entrance! We couldn't believe!!! Then we went to the backstage and took pictures with the guys!!! I'm very happy!!! I can't believe that all those wonderful things happened with me! I don't believe! Thanks God!

After the rock n´roll horror show of the Ibirapuera experience some years ago, that was definitily the worst concert that I had ever been to, yestarday's concert was awesome. Available tickets, no traffic jam, easy to park, organized, good acoustics, not been pushed and the concert began right on time, for latin hours of course. They even played a new song that was different... no idea about it´s title. Ian´s performance was energic and enthusiastic, pretty different from Ibirapuera where he seemed glued to the stage. Anyway, this time no complains and no regrets, just fun!

As far as the show was concerned Ian and the boys really rocked !!! The set-list included only big-hits, excepting for a new song (Breathe) and a couple of not so known ones (at least for the majority of concert goers - not for me !!) and it was a little short but not disappointing. Ian's now has a shaved head which caused some weird impression at the beginning (as weve always used to seeing him as a long haired guy) but his performance was really wild!! And so were the boys. At the end I could manage to get some autographs/pictures and talk to the guys who were very nice and receptive. Chris told me that now he's really part of the band and the new album is supposed to come out by March/April next year. He seemed to be a nice guy and his performance on this show made me feel sure THE CULT had a right decision about whos the one to take over the bass line. If you want I can provide you with more detailed information and/or any other thing you may thing would be interesting for your site. Thanks a lot for the opportunity and keep on rocking hard!! THE CULT BACK TO WHERE THEY BELONG ... RIGHT TO THE TOP !!!

It was a great show. Ian began the show a little bit tired and preserving his voice. Just like all festivals the guys had problems with the sound, in-ear, drums snare and others. Tonight he was not angry and at one point he said "for all motherfuckers...I'M STILL ALIVE. OPTIMISTIC..." He told us after the show they were going to Los Angeles to record the new album, and probably we'll have a world tour on 2001. The setlist seems to be the same o Curitiba and Rio but without Peace Dog and The Phoenix. I tell you something: I never saw Billy Duffy so high, happy with a fucking amazing energy. He played with a tremendous pleasure calling the crowd with a perfect performance. I think it was an answer for all those people that have said the Cult was out of shape. Look the guys are strong and happy as we saw. In the Love Removal Machine Ian sang some words of The End of the doors. And as we knew it was the final of the show.

It's amazing ... a huge crowd of rockers on a dream, overthere, The Cult, playing .. unbelivible. They strated playing Lil' Devil and so many great records like Wild Flower, Fire Woman, In The Clouds, Painted On My Heart, my prefer She Sells Sanctuary, Revolution, Sweet Soul Sister, Sun King, Edie (Ciao Baby). Man, that's THE BAND, and, as a fan, realy enjoy ....

Oh my God, that is what I call rock n´roll! First of all I could see my Brazilian favourite band "Capital Inicial" in a great concert, perfect like always! After a long day waiting for the guys, Ian came to the stage with Lil' Devil! He was so happy and it sound so good and strong. And God, I was so close to the stage! They played almost all my favourite songs, I´ve to say that I couldn´t avoid the tears in my eyes during Revolution , She Sells Sanctuary and Edie (Ciao Baby). We all got crazy with Fire Woman and Wild Flower, Billy was right there in front of me, and his "riffs" were so perfect that sometimes I forgot that Ian was singing. Painted On My Heart is such a nice song, and I had watched "Gone in 60 Seconds" few days before that show. And just want to see "The Cult" in Brazil this year, like Ian promissed us at the end of that unforgetable concert ...
