I liked this show a lot. I am waiting for it for so long. Well, I feel that the voice of Ian isn't perfect in this show. I was in the last show before the band crash, and I think the voice of Ian is very different, like his a little sick, perhaps because there's a lot of shows in a few days. Well, I hope Ian is great because I like the band a lot, and I think the new formation with two guitars is perfect. The only thing I wanna say is about the CD. Where are the CDs? And when the band will return to my country? Love and peace for all, greetings from Brazil.

Well, I guess I'm just lucky to be alive and see, for the second time, a Cult show. It was memorable, the best show I've seen in years. Ian is in great shape and so is Matt. I wasn't a great fan of matt's playing, but last night changed my mind, he was technical and ferocious. Billy is always Billy; plays a lot and is always very shy to the audience. Also great is the new bass player, he doesn't seem to be just a hired gun and technically he's loose and had a fat sound that reminds of Kyuss. The set was the Cult greatest hits like She Sells Sanctuary, Wild Flower, Lil' Devil, Sun King, Fire Woman, Revolution, Sweet Soul Sister, Love Removal Machine, In The Clouds, The Witch, Edie (Ciao Baby), Rain, and the newer Painted On My Heart and the great The Phoenix (a surprise for the hardcore fans like me).

Ian may not had the hair but he dances, shakes, jump like he was having a blast.

So, it took 5 long years but they came back and I hope that next time will not take too long.

It was a GREAT concert! Even better than the other I watched in 1995, before the band splits, in the same place. It was VERY energetic and powerful, this guys really ROCK!! Ian singed great, and the crowd (it was almost sold out) went completely crazy. The setlist was the same as the Curitiba concert, but not in the same order. Ian promised to come back next year, so they hopefully will be back after the new album is out.

The show was fantastic ! The guys were in very good mood. I think they are happy here in Rio. Ian didnīt stop to run and jump in the stage and singing very well. The sound was perfect, like a CD. The last Cultīs show before the brake was here, and I was there. But yesterday was better. The set list was perfect and the crowd was totally crazy. I think should be 8000 people or more. Weīre waiting for the next show after the CD. Sorry about my english...

The best show of my life, Astbury and Duffy.. the Cult... the best.....

It was fantastic. Although we, (8 people) missed the first song, we had a big surprise. The style of the band changed completely on stage. Ian's behavior on stage reminded us of the "Southern Death Cult" times, but that just showed us they haven't lost their energy at all!! We frequently see bands being corrupted by the music industry, but everybody was glad they didn't seem to. Thank God they are still alive! p.s.: We're looking foward to going to their next show in Rio this year, 2001, which had been promised by Ian during the show. By the way, he was making gestures so as to explain it as if we didn't understand English clearly. It was funny! Perhaps, he doesn't know that in Brazil, there is more than samba and the rainforest. But, we can understand it, that's ok! We still love them...
