Just wanted to tell you that I just got back from a private Cult show at a small club in LA called Scream. This was an unannounced gig at a very small venue, which I was lucky enough to stumble onto through some contacts at the club. It was without a doubt the best Cult show I have seen. They were in perfect form and played for two and a half hours - playing all of their staples (Love Removal Machine, She Sells Sanctuary, Rain, Lil' Devil, et al) as well as a brand new song which Ian said was being debuted live tonight. I believe it was called Breathe, and he said it would be on the new album. After the show, I got to talk to him briefly , and he told me that the new Cult album would be out sometime in the spring. All in all, an amazing evening, although Ian looks a bit strange with all of his hair shaved off!
