Sheryl Crow, Tori Spelling, Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, Johnny Depp, and members of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Orgy were among the luminaries who came out to see The Cult in Los Angeles on Saturday for a one-off show at the notorious Viper Room.

David Boreanaz, Alyssa Milano, Paul Rudd, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Stephen Dorff, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, Edward Furlong, Matthew McConaughey, Vince Vaughn, Rose McGowan, Bijou Phillips, and Hole's Eric Erlandson were also on hand for the show, which was part of the annual Great Guinness Toast celebration. Bars in more than 60 U.S. cities participated in the event, which successfully attacked the world record for the largest simultaneous toast with more than 320,000 people raising a glass at the same time.

After an opening DJ set by Marilyn Manson bassist Twiggy Ramirez, The Cult hit the stage and launched into what turned out to be an hour and 30-minute set thick with hits, but dotted with some new material. The fresh tracks will presumably resurface on the band's next effort, which will see The Cult join forces with producer Michael Beinhorn.

After the band's set, Jane's Addiction/Porno For Pyros frontman Perry Farrell manned the turntables for some post-show DJing.
