Welcome to the new and improved Cult Central. This site chronicles the past, present and future of the Cult and related projects. The Cult is Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy. For 2006 they've added a couple new members to go out on tour with but Ian & Billy will always be a part of the band. As always, we're interested in contributions including stories, reviews, news, pictures, artwork, and anything else that may be on your mind. The Cult's 2008 tour begins Feb 22nd in London. There will be a number of UK dates followed by a handful of European dates. After that there is a Canadian tour sandwiched between a few US dates. I've got my tickets for the Vancouver show, I hope to see some of you there.

Interesting points of note for the upcoming tour. In England, some of the shows will have opening band, Theatre of Hate. Yes, the same Theatre of Hate that Billy used to be a member of. Very cool. And for North America, it'll be the Cliks who were also touring with the Cult on the Jagermeister tour.

And those of you catching the tour, please send in reviews, setlists, photos, etc. I'll be posting them to the tour dates section of this page for everybody to read.

I've heard from a source that the second single from Born Into This will be Illuminated. Promotional one track singles are available. Sounds good, I guess this means they should be playing that song at these upcoming concerts. Thanks Steven!

As always, feel free to send in your reviews from the shows. I've got reviews from most, but not all of the shows and always welcome more. It's great to hear about the show from all the different perspectives.
