Welcome to the new and improved Cult Central. This site chronicles the past, present and future of the Cult and related projects. The Cult is Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy. For 2006 they've added a couple new members to go out on tour with but Ian & Billy will always be a part of the band. As always, we're interested in contributions including stories, reviews, news, pictures, artwork, and anything else that may be on your mind. I have had a busy year and not been as prompt at keeping the page up to date. I guess that's got to change!

Love Live 2009! Dates are out there starting in August 2009. The band will play a select number of venues in North America and Europe and feature the Love album in it's entirety! This tour promises to be something of a unique experience and I expect it will be well worth the price of admission, don't miss out! Check the Tour Dates link to the left for all the dates.

Ian's also got a solo project coming up, Soft Revolt. You can read about it here. Can't wait to hear the reviews of this!

There will be more this year, I've heard some interesting rumours that, hopefully will come to fruition. I'll post once they are more secure!

Please feel free to continue to send in reviews of the shows this year (and previous years for that matter), it's great to have that information on the site for everybody to read.

People are asking about releases, well, we have one. Vinyl 180 has rereleased the Love album on March 9, 2009 on 180g vinyl with updated artwork. It was released as a single disc version and a double disc version, too. Check it out here.
