the solo he plays live: 
it's very similar to the one on the record except it's shorter it's distorted and he tunes his guitar 1/2 step down
to make it even more like the version he plays live use distorted power chords 
after the drums kick in and in between chords add some evil licks in E pentatonic at the 12th fret
