The Cow Palace, San Francisco, California
Opening bands: UPO, Big Bad Zero, American Pearl
It was the first time I'd seen The Cult as headliners in the bay area, had seen
them a number of times in clubs and let me tell you these guyz tore the FUCKING
WALLS DOWN...with tunes like American Horse, Memphis Hip Shake
shake shake shake shake shake shake shake....:} She Sells Sanctuary,
Revolution and numerous others. The show lasted at least 2.5 hours nonstop
kikdik R&R. The band was into the crowd as we were into them, they asked us to join
them in Sacromento the next night CAUSE SAC CROWDS SUCK. It was the thrill of my
15 yr old lil bro's life when at the Sac show Jamie Stewart looked down at us on
the front row barrier and slaped his hand in amazment that we'd made both show front
row. I had seen them 3 times before and 8 times since and I will say next to Kiss
and their visual show THS CULT get me off like no other band, I'm 33 yrs old with
back problems but when THE CULT rolls into S.F. I'm right there on the barrier
with my lil bro....aaahhh good times.. PEACE
