Well it’s not true the Cult won’t play any of their new songs on the European Tour. Yesterday I’ve seen their concert here in Zürich. It was fucking brilliant.

AND they played before “Sanctuary” one song of the new album!!!! Fuckin’great. It’s called “…Assassin” or something similar (could be “Eye Assassin”)

Great song, something between “Libertine” and “Love”. Very tough and tight, swelling chords and licks with a brilliant rhythm section behind. Something familiar but somehow fresh. It was the fourth time they played the song together. Tempesta is an unbelievable drummer, wow, full energy.

Anyway if this is the beginning……can’t expect until September.
